Who we are
Our vision statement is “Life is better with succulents!”
Susan’s Succulents is a premier succulent nursery in Empire Bay, New South Wales (close to the Bouddi National Park and Killcare Beach), an hour’s drive north of Sydney.
We have over 150,000 varieties of succulents, cacti, lithops and unique, rare and unusual plants. All our plants are grown and propagated onsite.
Succulents are low-maintenance plants that come in an incredibly diverse range of forms and textures. They can be creatively used in various ways, from elegant arrangements to unique home decor.
The Susan’s Succulents experience
Our activities promote creativity and collaboration, ensuring everyone leaves with newfound knowledge and inspiration. We foster an environment where plant lovers can learn, connect and cultivate friendships through their love of succulents.
Visitors can relax and wander our nursery, browsing the range. We also host regular Succulent Workshops where you can learn how to care for your succulents, create beautiful arrangements and participate in upcycling projects.
Susan’s Succulents was featured on Better Homes and Gardens, showcasing our commitment to growing rare and unusual succulents and knowledge-sharing through unique experiences.
Our nursery is a wonderful place for everyone including children, adults and seniors (we welcome dogs too! We also run corporate team building sessions on arrangement (please enquire 0438924219).

Susan is a passionate succulent collector, grower and educator committed to sharing her years of experience and expertise with a diverse community of succulent enthusiasts.
She loves sharing her extensive knowledge, tips and personalised advice about succulent care, propagation and the diverse range of species we offer.
Susan’s mission to preserve a diverse range of succulent species drives our commitment to sustainability and education. Her deep passion for succulents is reflected throughout our nursery and experiences.
Nina
Nina specialises in creating stunning succulent arrangements. By upcycling everyday items, she transforms them into beautiful living art, showcasing the versatility of succulents.
Ninas innovative designs have garnered attention from well-known gardening enthusiasts including Costa Georgiadis of Gardening Australia.
